Photo Restoration

I’m a big fan of photography.

Sometimes a picture gets damaged because of life and we need to bring it back.

 

This picture of my son got damaged when moisture got inside the frame. I scanned it in at a 600 resolution and used Photoshop’s clone stamp tool to fix the spots.

I found a few photos of my mom that I thought would be nice to restore for her.

This one was pretty easy because it was black and white. Again used the clone stamp tool.

This is the result of that scan. It was only a 300 resolution. Mom was happy with it but I would like to try it again with a better scan.

Here is another that included color and some texture.

This work also included the brush tool because of the soft edges in the image.

The brush tool is also useful with facial restoration in pictures.
